Royal Trek mountain biking overnight tour in Pokhara

Mes 10 jours passés à Pokhara ont été incroyables, la beauté des paysages y a bien sur contribué, mais la qualité du service - clairement au-dessus de la moyenne - offerte par Jagan et son équipe ont démultiplié mes impressions lors de ce voyage. Jagan n'avait pour seul but que de satisfaire les souhaits de chacun, et nous surprenait à chaque fois par ses suggestions à propos. Nos deux guides - Dhan et Laxuman - ont assuré un service vraiment professionnel, avec une haute dose de bonne humeur et de convivialité! Un exemple parmi tant d'autres: alors que tout le pays fêtait le Tihar, Jagan a demandé à sa fille et sa soeur de venir nous mettre le tilak sur le front, en organisant une petite cérémonie improvisée dans son magasin! Un grand moment! Le tour du Lower Mustang (vol jusqu'à Jomsom, ascension jusqu'à Muktinath, puis descente jusqu'à Beni) - compter 5-6 jours avec des étapes de 4-6 heures / jour - est une pure merveille. Les multiples "single day rides" autour de Pokhara offrent également une belle diversité, avec un petit coup de coeur pour le tour vers le lac Begnas et la nuit passée à "Sanu Lake on de' water", un petit coin de paradis. Allez-y! vous serez conquis!

I arrived in the office of Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure and I directly felt these special vibes. All the people working there love there jobs and just want to show you all the great options you have here in Nepal to explore on a bike. I decided to do a 4 day MTB-Tour in the Pokhara Valley. It was such a wonderful experience. My guide Suman was so great. He looked after me and protected me against the scary dogs :-). He also is just a great company to bike with. When I come back for the Upper Mustang Tour I really hope Suman is free to accompany me. The Tour is perfect for everyone who enjoys climbing up the hills but also going down on Single Trails. The nature is just beautiful and you can enjoy the few of Pokhara, Phewa-Lake and Begnas Lake from above. The teahouses we stayed were so beautiful, quiet and the food is just amazing. I specially loved the first stay at Himalayan View Tea House. In the morning we had these wonderful and clear view of the mountain ranges. My bike was a very good, fairly new fully Trek-bike. Also the whole equipment they provided me with (helmet, gloves and also a brand new biking pants (only ordered for me from Kathmandu)) were fairly new and in very good shape. All in all it was a great adventure and a perfect way to get around Pokhara Valley to enjoy the nature and also to explore the culture. I will come back for sure!!!! We thought we wanted to bike to Begnas Lake by ourselves, but we are so glad we chose a one day guided trip with PMB! They suited us with great bikes and gave us plenty of choices for our ride. Anil, who is studying tourism, took us up dirt roads through gorgeous villages that we would have never found ourselves. Can't say enough for just dropping by their office in Lakeside, chatting with the folks there, and seeing what sounds good.

I highly recommend doing a tour with Pohkara Mountain Bike Adventure! I ended up doing an over night trip with 2 days of biking. I had been in contact with Jagan, the owner, for several weeks prior to my arrival. He was always prompt to respond and provided a lot of helpful information. I stopped by the shop one day and finally met him in person. He made me feel right at home! He insisted I have a cold drink and helped me design the excursion. It was clear that he is very passionate about biking, the growth of the sport in Nepal, and his business. I got to test ride 3 different bikes before I decided on a full-suspension Scott bike with a dropper post! They had an impressive selection! Two days later I set out with one of the guides from the store front. We rode through the city, on to jeep roads, and climbed out of the valley. We stayed at a lodge with beautiful views of Pohkara, had dhal bhat for lunch, and then took an afternoon hike to a high point nearby to get even bigger views of the surrounding valley. We had a great view of Begnas lake! The next day was a fun mix of ascending and descending down jeep roads through the country side. We finished the ride with lunch at Rupa and Begnas lakes and then I was shuttled to the singletrack portion of the ride up above the world peace pogoda. It was a mix of smooth, flowy trail, and some stairs that are rideable. It was a great adventure and I would love to return to do a longer guided excursion!

Alone Nepali with a great guide. Really enjoyed the trip but up to Kalika route is really tough because of road was ruin by recent rain. Guide so pro. I really recommended even if you have little knowledge about mountain bike in Nepal. Cheap and best to ride on pre monsoon season.

After a few days mountain biking around Pokhara, we decided to do a tougher all day bike trip with pokhara mountain bike adventure. We did a tough traverse which descend to begnas lake and back to pokhara.The staff was excellent, the owner friendly and good with recommendations, and they probably have the best bikes in Pokhara. Also the price was fair in my opinion. A good choice of new dual suspension and hard tail bikes available for hire and I would love to be back and do a longer trip with these guys. Best way to see the village and mountain life around Pokhara for sure.

I had a really great trip with these guys. They provided me with an amazing bike in great condition. Although the weather was very wet it was a brilliant ride to see Begnas Tal. We had a mixture of road and cross country which was perfect. I was looked after so well by them and my guide was such great company and spoke brilliant english. They have so much to offer and I highly recommend them to any one. The trip was memorable and so much fun. Thank you.

after a 2 hour search among the many bicycle shops around i found that these guys maintain and rent their bikes for the best condition. after a checkout of the bike by their technicians i took the bike for 2 days climb and downhill the bike withstood everything without a problem and no faults. also recommend to check out their gear for sale you may find something excellent for cheap. יומיים של טיפוס ודאון-היל מטורף עם אופני זנב קשיח בתחזוקה מעולה. שכרתי לאחר סקר שוק של שעתיים בכל האיזור - ממליץ לבדוק את הציוד שלהם למכירה - מקורי ובזול.

Awesome. We had a group of 11 friends to visit Begnas and Rupa. The cycles were amazing and the service is great. Moreover, I liked the attitude of the people of that shop.

Friendly staff with good material and 20+ years of experience on the field. I did a 3 days tour up to Kalika and down to Begnas lake. The guide was helpful and able to adapt to my fit. Recommended without hesitation.

Bikes are in really good state. Staff very nice. They make a trip according to your desire. May be it was a bit hard for our training, but really Nice riding in villages close to Pokhara and to lake Begnas. It might be good to get some extra advice about how to ride the bike in the mountain, specially for going down for people not used to mountain terrain. Absolutely recomended activity in Pokhara if you love bikes and great landscape.
